Metabo BHE201DR 110V

One of a handful of dust extracting SDS drills on the market, the Metabo BHE201DR comes complete with a range of handy features designed to overcome many of the everyday challenges of the interior coinstruction. (Review continues below…).

The Metabo BHE201DR 110V is not exactly a conventional looking SDS Plus drill. As with other Metabo designs it’s a fairly unique machine. There’s a holder for the additional handle giving you great control and a tight grip. Plus, there’s a nicely positioned second holder on the right side of the drill for left-handed users.

There’s also a convenient guide for dust extractor which means no more jamming when you attach the dust extractor. It’s easy to release too – simply press a button, without having to pull on the whole unit.

It’s designed for a long life too: the plastic shielded, die-cast aluminium gear housing is highly robust, ready for the daily hammer that you’ll inevitably throw at it.

There’s an easy function switch too, allowing you to go from from drilling to hammer drilling even when wearing work gloves. The soft rubber-coated handle gives you a secure grip even at full drilling capacity.

Finally, you’ll like the convenient holder for scaffolding hooks – great for hanging up your drill safely while you take a well earned break.
