If you often work in private houses or are looking for a high quality DIY drill that won’t fill your home with dust, the Bosch GBH 2-23REA is a good choice. Even with the dust extraction unit attached it’s a neat compact machine that even makes overhead drilling comfortable.

Bosch have made sure the dust extractor works with a core cutter with an adaptor set that works with core cutters up to 68mm.

If you’ve not worked with a dust extractor before you may be surprised at how easily it all fits together. Internal retaining valves prevent the dust escaping and it’s easy to remove the dust extraction unit, allowing you to use the drill by itself.

The drill itself is a mid-range 2kg model that’s well equipped for everyday trade use, and will make short work of concrete and masonry – allowing you to drill holes of up to 23mm without the dust extractor and 16mm with it.
